Sightseeing

"The riviera of Basel": In the summer, people who lives in basel put on their pants or bikini and go swimming in the Rhine. If you do not have one of the "basel colored swimming bag" called "wrap fish" (Wickefisch) for the dry transport of your clothes, you can buy it at one of the buvettes (small restaurants) next to the Rhine. After swimming, you sit on the banks of the Rhine and drink something you brought yourself or buy a drink at one of the many buvettes and enjoy life. (Unfortunately) Baselers riviera is no longer an insider tip, so it can be quite crowded on hot summer days. But it is an experience in any case and you should not miss it!
