Eastview is a regional shopping center located less than a mile off New York State Thruway Exit 45 and Route 490. Mendon Ponds offers many hiking/running trails and ponds for kayaking and canoeing. There are beautiful green areas for camping. My oldest son runs in Mendon Ponds Park 6 days a week.

Fish travel over Niagara Falls, and most survive because of their ability to flow with the water. Four of the five Great Lakes (Superior, Michigan, Huron and Erie) drain into the Niagara River before emptying into Lake Ontario. These five Great Lakes make up almost one-fifth of the world's fresh water supply.

Sightseeing
Within 2 miles of your stay location are three GREAT historic villages on the Erie Canal. Once a primary means of trade to ship goods from the east coast the canal is now a recreational treasure. The villages are vibrant with great history, restaurants, recreation, and sightseeing.
