This is where you take the bus to the hotel zone. Just wave at them and they will stop. They are about 15 pesos (a dollar and a few cents)

Next to OXXO you can find Dentistar; in my opinion the best dentist office you will find in Cancun.

You might need a car if you plan to go to cenotes for instance. I'd recommend this place as it's cheap and I've had good experiences with them.

This place is far more affordable than the huge fancy spa's in the hotel zone, and you get the same treatment.

This is probably the biggest gym in Cancun. It's brand new and fully equipped with swimming pool, sauna, steam room, cross-fit equipment, etc.

At the roundabout there is an open air gym which also has some bars, in case you're into body-weight exercise. I come here from time to time to practice freerunning. They also organize yoga at dawn.

Forum Beach, behind Coco Bongo. This is where I usually spend my Sundays playing volleyball. You can take a bus from right outside my apartment every 5 min during the day and every 30 at night.

This is a new restaurant which is focused around meat (steaks, fajitas, etc). Not as cheap as some other restaurants nearby, but very tasty.

Right next to Hooters., this is one of my favorites in Cancun. It's a chain from the US, but here they have a lot of Mexican food as well. Best of all: it's all you can eat.
