It is a lot quieter than neighbouring Bournemouth and there are plenty of pretty walking routes around it too.
It is part of a nature reserve, which is home to a variety of wildlife, including 300 different bird species.
It juts out of the mainland between Bournemouth and Christchurch, a few miles west of the New Forest.
There is a café, car park and small play area for kids on site.
If you're feeling peckish, pop into The Hiker Café right on the coast.
Be sure to order a traditional cream tea which comes with two fruit scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, plus a pot of tea.
