It is really cute place where we usually go for a coffee and cake. As most things on this side of the island it is modest and wonderful with awesome home baked cakes and fresh produce from the garden. If the girl working there has red hair and is called Irmeli then say hello from Christian & Kebing :-)

They make their own chocolat and ice cream. Their lemon sorbet has won prices for being best in Sweden on a number of occasions. We really recommend the small chocolat with fudge and sea salt on top with a fresh Espresso.
After a coffee here take off your shoes, roll up your pants and stroll in the ocean behind the café with the locals!

In the evenings to sit outside, listening to their live bands playing on the patio and watch the ocean is quite something. Their kitchen is really good if you stay away from the classics and instead try the little more off-the-beaten-track delicacies.

This is the home of genuine atmosphere and its hard to find a more direct relation with the Swedish music wonder than here. Do try their own locally brewed beer while you are at it!

Parks & Nature
This is locally referred to as "Trollskogen" which means "Enchanted forest" or "Forest full of trolls" depending on what time of the day you visit.
It is considered a magical forest and offer some of the most spectacular sights albeit you have to share it with cows wandering around also enjoying the views (they are harmless though). Somewhere there you can even find a old shipwreck on the shores.

This is the closest big grocery store around if you don't have time to visit all the local farmers for fresh produce. All farmers sell directly to the store too so you get it fresh off the island, but miss out on the experience of picking up groceries from the hands of the farmers.
There are small signs indicating what is from Öland and not, if in doubt ask the friendly staff. They don't overcharge for it either so go nuts
