Spectacular views and a big, beautiful beach. One of our favorite things to do is get up really early and walk to Atwater Park to watch the sun rise over Lake Michigan.

Nestled along a residential street on the shore of Lake Michigan just to the north, in Whitefish Bay, Klode Park has a fantastic beach and lots of space to run and play. It's a great place to jog to and from, with a winding paved trail down the the lakeshore.

Under a canopy of mature trees, set next to the beautiful Milwaukee river, Hubbard Park is a very nice spot for a picnic, a beer on the beer garden, and a stroll along the river. A newly-installed canoe and kayak launch is there for adventure-seekers, and the Lodge at Hubbard Park has a great fish fry every Friday!

Share the Brussels sprouts, nachos, and the middle eastern platter, and wash it down with one of their signature cocktails. The Pim's Cup is our fave. If you go during busy times, plan on waiting in line at the bar for several minutes to order.
