Mt. Ellinor Lower Trailhead
National Forest Development Road 2419This is a hike for all- you can drive to the trailhead and see a great panorama; or if you’re a hiker you can take the seven mile round trip and go to the top of a mountain!
A pass is required to park in the upper lot but if you park in the lower lot, no pass is required.
About a 12 mile round trip hike to Lena lake so some people choose to hike the lower Lena hike which is about 7 miles. Pass required to park at the trailhead.

In a pinch I can help you, but you will want to bring some groceries unless you prefer to drive about twenty minutes.

Our beach
Feel free to use the kayaks, peddle boat , bench, chairs and futon. You should find life jackets nearby . When the tide is low beach is pretty much free to walk, but when it’s higher please stay on our property near boat house and South to rock outcropping. Please check to make sure there is no burn ban if you would like to make a fire.

Our Beach Access
You cannot safely access the beach from the deck. Please walk over to the house and take trail there or you can walk through the yard and access via gravel road half way across lawn to your right. Also, if you get in the canal water, I recommend you rinse your clothes and shoes every time as the salt water has a lovely aroma after a while.
