First things first, you'll want food and Daniel's Market is just 5 minutes down the hill. There is also Major Market, Albertsons and Grocery Outlet in Fallbrook Village, but Daniel's is closest and should have everything you need.

You don't need to travel to Temecula to visit some beautiful vineyards. You can get your wine fix from numerous vineyards just a few miles away from SOL!
Now for the good stuff! Go taste some of the award-winning wines from this family run winery only 4 miles away! No need to drive to Temecula for the vineyard experience. This was voted #1 local winery in San Diego.

River Village Plaza is where Daniel's Market is located. There are also multiple restaurants here, shops and a movie theater. It's right down the hill and very easy to get to. Although you are secluded at SOL, the necessities of civilization are conveniently located only a few minutes away. There is also a dry cleaner in case you spill wine on yourself at the vineyards.

Pala Mesa Golf Course is another great option for golfing 7 miles away. They've also got a fantastic restaurant with high floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course. There's an outside patio as well.

Brunch or lunch on the porch at The Veranda restaurant is delightful and we highly recommend you tour The Gardens while you're there. They are open Thursday through Sunday and reservations are required.
