Food scene
Swakopmund has beautiful restaurants. Blue grass is in close proximity to our establishment, about 5 minutes drive or 15 minute walk. It is situated at the waterfront (Platz am Meer Mall). They offer homely dishes, restaurant overlooking the ocean and is children friendly. The mall offers a variety of eatery and shops.
I further recommend Tug restaurant and Strand hotel in the city center which are about 12 minute drive from our establishment.

Shearwater Street leads to Turnstone street where White Crystal Beach house is located. It is in a cul de sac shielding it away from traffic.
Vogelstrand is a lovely and safe neighborhood away from the city center. Safe to jog, cycle or walk along the beach. Takes about 15 minute walk to the Waterfront (nearest mall)

The city is a perfect base for exploring the coast, from taking boat and kayaking trips from Walvis Bay to spot the abundant marine life of the Atlantic Ocean to going birdwatching at Sandwich Harbour further south.
