Baobab Fare will make your belly so happy. And the owners are so lovely - they immigrated here from Nigeria, and we're so glad they chose to make Detroit home. Our favorite dish is the intore, and we get it with yellow beans and spiced rice pilau. The avocado passionfruit dessert amazing. Secret tip - ask to try the hot sauce.
About 5ish minutes drive from our house, straight down Woodward.

okay so this is kinda far from us - like a 20ish minute drive, but it's so worth it! Vegan cheese plates and cheesecakes and drinks (including NA wines and champagne). Get the drinking chocolate and the turmeric drink with your cheese and dessert.
This is in a boujee-ass area called Birmingham so there is also shopping, but it's very affluent white and the shops represent that.
