Snag a seat along the back windows by the river. If you see some pastries that catch your eye when you walk in- order them to go asap or they won’t be there when you leave. They were just voted among the top donuts in the Hudson valley.

This small resort has fantastic marked hikes that are available in the summer and winter. Take the Ice Box hike to see amazing ice and snow in the winter and a cool break from heat in the summer. They also have a fantastic brunch and bar if you want to pop in for a drink after hiking.

Take the Ice Box hike to see amazing ice and snow in the winter and a cool break from heat in the summer. They also have a fantastic brunch and bar if you want to pop in for a drink after hiking.
If you just want to go for a 'civilized' walk (or run) on a prepped path that is short, flat and easy, then the Windham Path is great. In the winter, the area is great for cross country skiing as well.
