Bring rain gear!
Kauai is full of lush, natural beauty! We get to appreciate this jungle-esque terrain thanks to all the rain this island gets! Water proof gear is definitely something you want to bring especially if you are coming during the rainier winter months (Dec-April). The weather can change rapidly from sunny skies to heavy down-pours (this also creates lots of r a i n b o w s! ) so expect mud around here on the North Shore- especially if you plan to go hiking.
