การเดินทาง

Subways are your friend!

Subways are the fastest and cheapest to get around the city - at $2.75 per swipe. They’re extremely convenient; just beware of the weekends. Weekend service often means trains run less frequently and make local stops instead of running express. I don’t recommend the bus for someone who is not a New Yorker or familiar with train systems. Ubers are extremely expensive and can be upwards of $100 for long rides, or during busy times. For anything a mile or less away, if you are capable, walk! It’s the best way to see the city.
สัมภาระที่ควรเตรียม

Bring comfortable walking shoes!

You may want to bust out your coolest combat boots and strapped stiletto heels (and you totally should), but save it for your night activities. You’ll want some comfortable shoes when you’re running up and down the subway, walking through the streets, and sightseeing. It’s easy to get tired after just a few hours of walking around, and you want to make sure you don’t injure your feet your very first day in the city.

Don’t leave without trying pizza & a bagel

The rumors are true — we have the best bagels & pizza in the U.S. It’s undebatable! Make sure not to leave before trying one of each - even if you have to grab it from a cart off the street. Still delicious.
