A 10-15 minute walk, Fort Meigs is a really great place to spend an afternoon learning about historical Perrysburg and the surrounding areas. The Fort Meigs property also contains a gift shop, parking, trails, and drop-in areas for fishermen along the Maumee River bridge.
The Ft. Meigs trail leads to another trail that goes under the Maumee bridge to Orleans Park, a kayak and personal watercraft park.
From Orleans Park, you can connect to a waterfront trail that leads to Old Town Perrysburg and the Perrysburg Monument (walking there and back from CarolAnn's Place, 7 +/- miles).
You can also go over the Maumee Bridge to a bunch more parks and trails! To the bridge and back is a 25-30 minute walk.

29100 W River RdA 10-15 minute walk, Fort Meigs is a really great place to spend an afternoon learning about historical Perrysburg and the surrounding areas. The Fort Meigs property also contains a gift shop, parking, trails, and drop-in areas for fishermen along the Maumee River bridge.
