This is a must do. Take the road south past main beach. Follow the signs about 2 kilometres out of town to springs beach. The road in is dirt and can get a bit rough, but we manage to drive in there in our small 2wd car. Just take it slow. From the car-park its about a 800 metre walk down to the beach. One of my favourite spots. Has a classic right hand point break similar to Noosa. Can get really good surf. And is protected from the strong winds. Take water and some food.

Middle beach - This is the beach out the front of the apartment. This beach is generally empty and picks up the most swell, but can get blown out because of how open it is.

Workmans Beach is a little gem between Between Main Beach and Chinamans Beach. Used to be a free camping ground area until things got out of control with rubbish and waste and the council stepped in to shut it down. Now its just a nice beach which is very quiet and has nice views. Well protected from southerly winds. Short stroll down a wide path to get down to the beach.

The cafe is inside of the caravan park but is open to everyone. Really good food and sitting on the beach. Nice view.
