Brook Waimarama Sanctuary

Just up the road from us, this bird sanctuary is protected by a long predator fence. The Sanctuary is home to an ever growing population and variety of native birds. With walks for any level of fitness in lush native bush we recommend a visit.

Cable Bay

This is a great local spot we visit regularly in summer for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking. The Cable Bay Walkway links Cable Bay to The Glen and is a great half day hike with native bush and great views of the Tasman Bay. A good level of fitness required.
