Great for both food and/or a drink and close to a group of bars and restaurants at Custom House Quay that are by the harbour! It is one of the oldest bars in the area and although recently renovated they have kept the look and feel of the original layout downstairs in the bar. Upstairs the restaurant has a wonderful balcony that sits over the harbour.

Although this is a bar set on 2 floors it is similar to being in an art gallery! It is totally fabulous and worth a visit just to check out the decadence of the upstairs! Tapas and drinks are available.

If you do not wish to actually visit the Castle and grounds that were built in the reign of Henry 8th, then enjoy a walk or drive around the point below or the walls of the castle at castle drive and enjoy an ice cream overlooking the sea at Pendennis Point! You can also find Little Dennis at the far end of the Point down on the right looking out to St Mawes!

Part of the iconic Tate Art Galleries and often has exhibitions from the artistis that were part of the famous St Ives Artists. St Ives is worth a visit as it is a fabulous resort and has many other art venues of interest such as the Barbara Hepworth Museum. It is approx 45 minutes drive but difficult to get to unless you have a car.

You can enjoy amazing coastline walks from here to Gylly beach or in the other direction an amazing coastal walk to Maenporth beach which is the next beautiful cove with bars and restaurants available. There us a beach bar with iconic ice creams on swanpool beach and a restaurant up on the cliffs overlooking the sea.
