Pick up the spur to the southern trailhead just past our driveway and runs parallel to our pasture for 3/4 mile. The entrance is across County Line Road. Great for walking, running and biking.

One of my favorite hikes! A very short drive from our house. Just over a mile of long switchbacks until reaching the plateau. Great views. The loop on top is worth doing if you have the time. 5.5 miles round trip.

13415 S Spruce Mountain RdOne of my favorite hikes! A very short drive from our house. Just over a mile of long switchbacks until reaching the plateau. Great views. The loop on top is worth doing if you have the time. 5.5 miles round trip.

You can pick this up just across the street from our driveway. It's a well maintained, wide, hard packed trail that goes into Colorado Springs. It's a gradual downhill, so beware that coming back will be much harder!

5 minute drive. Monument is a larger town with more local restaurants and also some chains. That's where you'll find the grocery stores, laundromat and whatever else you might need for your stay. There's more hiking and the Santa Fe trail goes through there

Manitou is at the base of Pikes Peak and has so many fun, touristy things to do. Restaurants, shops, hiking. And if you're here for the "pot tourism" there are two recreational shops.
