This is THE best place to get real stinky French and Quebecois (and BC) cheese. They have a decent charcuterie plate (and wine) for lunch as well.

THE best fish and chips in Canada (and, I used to have a job delivering potatoes to FIsh and Chip shops in England- so I should know). I like the halibut- always very fresh, but cod and haddock are the traditional English fish for fish and chips

Excellent steaks- all kinds- not bad for fish in season. Make sure to get some Denzel's hot sauce- it's made in Enderby, only available in a few foodie places locally

They make their own (excellent) beer on premisies. Check out the BC bud IPA- very hoppy :) Reasonable pub grub, but excellent slow cooked beef tips and pulled pork - try these two in the tacos- really good. And, a fun younger vibe. And, it's smack in the middle of town (on 30th ave/30th street)

This is another good restaurant, slightly older/professional crowd. Menu hasn't changed for a while, but wine list is excellent, and the food is decent and consistent- Mediterranean like it says, Paella on the menu for instance

Their produce is excellent (and cheap), and, they have the daily papers there. The meat is prepackaged and so so, but produce , eggs dairy etc is all good
