Recently, Brewtown unveiled their 4500 sqm entertainment complex, complete with mini golf, ice skating, paintball, ten pin bowling, cart racing and a trampoline park. Flat easy walking tracks near the Hutt River. Can be accessed from Barton Road or Brentwood Street. On a Saturday afternoon in the summer there will likely be a couple of games of cricket being played and you can sit an watch them under the shade of a tree.

The Hutt River Trail runs the length of the Hutt River from the Petone Foreshore as far as Kaitoke Regional Park. A great biking or walking trail.
