The store is a marker for the parking area on the 25/70 side towards Asheville. You will love the gentle stroll with what we call all wonderful downward views. It goes back bout 3.5 miles to the train bridge. Mid way you will see lots of folks jumping from the rock into the river. This has rolling hills no strenuous areas great for all ages. There is so much room to stop on the river and have your own space even if the parking area is full.

Book before you go
The mineral spa is a great way to relax and unwind. They have several different styles of soaking in the mineral water. Rent an hour or go deluxe with robes and fireplaces .
Take in a dip in the hot mineral springs that have been called healing waters. The springs contain over 18 minerals and bubble out of the ground at 106 degrees. The water is then pumped into hot tubs that are drained, cleaned and filled between guests. All of tubs are private. MAKE sure to get your reservations as they fill fast and very far in advance on weekends and holidays.

Enjoy hiking all around the area as well as the Appalachian Trail (AT) and our famous Lovers Leap. We have fantastic fishing, rafting trips with class 3-4 rapids as well as lazy river floats. If you need to rest and relax book an appointment to soak at the spa in one of their mineral water tubs. We have great restaurants all with their local flair.
Hillbilly Market carries all your produce meat and deli. Dollar General has all the rest. The restaurants days and hours vary please check their websites or FBpages for current times. There are two shops that specialize in drinks.

Max patch is about 18 miles but 42 minutes.
Laurel trail is five minutes outside town and Lover's Leap in town. Rich Mountain tower and Mills ridge are great as well as Viking Mountain. Dudley falls is a 30 minute drive but you can stop at Murray's branch where all the raft companies take out. Hot Springs Rafting CO is fantastic for your white water adventure kayak and tubing needs.
