This is a must see of the area that many people miss. Filled with wild ponies and beautiful views. We have the pass so you don't need to pay the entrance fee (just ask). Check their schedule for crabbing and clamming lessons.
Highlights include; building a campfire on the beach, over sand vehicle area (you need to purchase a pass), hiking, biking (bring your own), and kayak rentals. This is a beautiful area with plenty of activities.
Don't forget-Water, something for shade, sunscreen, bug spray (mosquitoes can get bad here), beach towels, swimsuit, and food. If building a campfire you will need something to dig a small hole, firewood (you can find at various stands approaching the park), kindling or fire starter, a bucket for water to put the fire out (don't cover it with sand) and a pan or fire friendly stick to cook with.
