It’s a great day out to view highland dancers, pipers, lovely men in kilts tossing the caber and throwing the hammer plus many other activities!! There is generally a small entrance fee on arrival.

Take a leisurely train journey from Arrochar to Mallaig with Scotrail, taking you through some beautiful breath taking Scottish countryside, viewing herds of wild deer and passing over Glenfinnan Viaduct featured in one of the Harry Potter movies. A long day but well worth it.

However, please be aware that weather conditions can change very rapidly out in the mountains, so, dress accordingly and have everything you need to raise the alarm in the event of an emergency.
