When locals need a hike on a trail that is not crowded, the Rifle Arch is the perfect place. From R Farm, this is just a couple miles north. Round trip the trail is just under 3 miles.

But the real reason the kids will love this hike is the small caves sprinkled along the trail. Surprise the kids with a flashlight (not just your phone) and they will never forget it!
For those visiting R Farm, this is BLM area is our back yard. Typically people use their motor cycles and other toys on the vast network of trails to enjoy the wild country. Our family enjoys simply taking a hike, mountain biking, and some trail running.

Just a couple miles past Rifle Falls is this wonderful canyon. If you didn’t already know, it is home to some of the works best overhang climbing! Our family enjoy visiting the ice caves that form in the winter.

The Asian food served here is some of the best in our valley! They also have pretty good lunch specials during the week. And it is the only place worth getting sushi from in Rifle.

Probably the best place to get a burger in town. Shooters became famous in 2014 as national media, including late night personalities, discovered the eatery has waitresses that wear side arms. Now people from all over stop in to say they have been there.
