Local Winery
10 minutes from my home. We are friends with the owner, so let us know if you decide to go here and we will shoot her a DM. Beautiful spot to bring a picnic and grab a bottle of wine.
The raspberry wine is my favorite but it’s sometimes sold out, next in line is the blackberry or cranberry.

This local neighborhood bar is great for people watching. All local brews on tap. Service can sometimes be slow but we love this place. I recommend the margarita flatbread.

You can’t go wrong with the station. They have a little bit of everything and it’s all good! Large local beer selection and fantastic dessert bar. Richard and I like to get their charcuterie board and sit outside on a nice day.

15 min drive, locally owned with a farm animal rescue on site.
$5 Sundae of all flavors are delicious. However, don’t miss out on the pound cake flavors that are made from scratch!

Hiking
My favorite hike. Just under an hour drive with beautiful views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This is a 5 mile loop. Perfect for the intermediate hiker as there are a few ladders and creeks to cross.
*There is also a shorter, easier hike that connects with this trail that is approximately 2 1/2 miles total to Hebron Falls. A beautiful picture spot. There are no ladders on this section.
