They have a floating dock in the middle of the lake and it's warm water, it has a natural brackish spring My niece and nephew think this is the best place in the whole world... the local kids are super friendly and within minutes they have new best friends every time they visit. There is an Ice cream and farm market stand where they sell delicious strawberries across the street from the park in the summer.

The ideal put-in is at Collingwood station, and the river runs all the way through Oxford and further on. Usually the trip from Collingwood to the Jungle Rd. Bridge is a nice outing, with a nice 10km run back to the car (if you only have one car).

The laundry service is fast and reliable, you can do it yourself or drop it off. I have found excellent books at the thrift store, but there is also a great selection of clothing for everyone.
