If the Mount is too daunting Mt Drury is a short walk up with views over the Harbour. You can walk from the town side to the ocean side or vice versa.

An easy walk out from the ocean beach to Moturiki. At high tide the Blow hole works with sometimes spectacular spray. The island is a nesting habitat for little blue penguins. Great views back to the Main Beach and down the coast. Approximately 5-8 minutes walk from here.
