Beach
Rated one if the best beaches in Wisconsin:
To head to the beach walk out my front door and head down the main road, 22nd street, 2 blocks. You will run into a park with play equipment, a basketball court, tennis courts, etc. You can cut through the park or keep heading straight for another block to get to the beach.
If you prefer a semi private area of the beach go out my front door and turn right onto Lincoln Street. Keep going straight about 4 blocks until it dead ends. Find street parking and take one of the several paths to the beach.
If you want an even more private beach I suggest to ride a bike or drive to McDonald's or the Lighthouse Inn. Park there and take the paved trail along the water. This goes 6 miles to Manitowoc. All along this path you will see many paths down to the beach.

Food Scene
This is right across the street from my place attached to the gas station. It has won awards for their food. They usually have some fun gluten free treats also. They have a couple tables but do mostly takeout. There is a menu on the table behind the couch.

This place has great food, serves alcohol and would be considered a sports pub. People are friendly and their menu is more like a restaurant than a bar. It's in a great original building which makes it feel quaint.

Activities
As you leave my house turn right on 22nd like you are going to the beach. Take the paved path around the baseball field. This is a great trail, away from traffic, for biking or walking. It goes 1.5 miles and then you can cross the road into the state park if you wish to go further.

Activities
Rawley trail starts near the beach and follows a combination paved and gravel path for a couple miles. Then have the option to cross the road and continue into the state park's trail system.

I love this beautiful walk to the lighthouse where they let you get up close and personal to the lighthouse. If you are very ambitious you could take Mariners trail all the way to the lighthouse. If you drive, turn left into 22nd street on the side of my house, turn left into the main street, called Washington, and follow that for about 7 miles. You will see it shortly after the roundabout.
