Yong's Steamboat is famous with steamboat but that's not all. We like to order dishes to go with rice. The fried chicken wings is a must-have. This round we have their signature tofu, Marmite Ribs, vegetable and vegetables pancake. It always ends with a complimentary fruits (watermelon & jelly). The salad that came with the ribs was a surprise, it has some marinated mango slices and topped with black sesame, looking great!

In Batu Pahat, there is a famous food relationship, which is wanton mee, Chop See Kee. Ah See Wanton Mee has a history of more than 60 years. It represents a traditional taste and is part of Batu Pahat, leaving important memories for most of its residents. ‘Chop See Kee Wanton Mee’ is famous for its homemade ingredients. Noodles are different because they are chewy, neither hard nor soft. In addition, the “char siu” of the wanton mee was tender as the host slowly grilled it over a tin stove and charcoal. In addition, the main function of wanton is very juicy and sweet, and the meat is very fresh and delicious.

Every side dish is well done. Soon Lai Kway Chap Restaurant is located in Mazu’s temple in Batu Pahat, opposite the oldest temple. It pays particular attention to cracked texture, most importantly broth. Soft, smooth flatness is the key to texture, perfect, not too thick and thin, everything is hand crafted to perfection. Not to mention the broth, flavoured by herbs passed down from their family will make it more than just a bowl. It’s not greasy, cook at least 3 hours a day to make sure the flavor is on point.

The egg noodles were half submerged in a dark syrupy gravy and topped with pieces of braised chicken. The braised chicken was tender and naturally sweet.The noodles were eggy, crunchy, tender and smooth, lubricated by the syrupy gravy with sweet and salty notes.The tasty chicken feet were very smooth and tender. Meng Kee's delicious chicken feet were sweet and savoury from the braising sauce.

The line is long, but the service is fast. The beriyani looked appetizing with a hearty dish of lamb. On the other hand, the lamb is delicious. The meat had a spiced flavor, tender and thick, which proved that it had been cooking for hours.

Dataran Penggaram是Batu Pahat必游的地标，因为它描绘了tu株巴辖的名称来源。传说暹罗士兵在15世纪被马六甲军队击败后，在冰冻的村庄凿石取水。那就是这个地方的名字，Batu Pahat。在小镇的百年庆典中，在领土广场上建造了一座带有喷泉的纪念碑，描绘了凿岩。这是在城市广场举行年度活动，如国庆日，开斋节和农历新年庆祝活动。正常情况下，家人会去广场散步或散步或放风筝。周围有小摊出售儿童食品，饮料和玩具。当地人喜欢周末时在那里骑自行车，慢跑，放松，晚上携伴散步。
Dataran Penggaram is a must-visit landmark in Batu Pahat as it is a depiction of the origin of Batu Pahat's name. Legend has it that the Siamese soldiers were chiselling rocks at Minyak Beku village to collect drinking water after being defeated by the Malacca troops in the 15th century. That gave this land its name, Batu Pahat. During the town’s centennial celebration, a monument with a fountain depicting the chiselled rock was built in Dataran Penggaram. This is the town square where annual events such as National Day, Hari Raya and Chinese New Year celebrations are held. During normal days, families visit the Dataran to have an evening walk or to fly kites. There are stalls around that sells food, drinks and toys for kids.

Founded in 1981, it has been a long history from nowadays. This is another temple where tourists comes during the weekends to pray for good fortune and ask for lucky numbers. You will notice this well somewhere near the deity praying altars. It is said that the water has been blessed by the dragon king and whoever that washes with it will have good blessings by the god. Some of the other attractions in this temple include this steel bridge, which says that when you cross it, something good will happen to you daily and yearly.
