This home is only 5 minutes from Lake Ouachita at the Twin Creeks Recreational Area. You can Google that for more details, but it's a lovely location that includes a park, a free swimming beach, a boat ramp, a fishing dock and clean restrooms. It's very quiet and peaceful unless you go on a major holiday weekend when it will be busy.

There's also a LOViT west, which is closer to my home. Go to the National Forest Service Ranger's station to get maps of these and other trails. The ranger's station is on Hwy 270 just before you reach Mount Ida from this vacation home.

This is the best place to go for a scenic view of the lake. The road up the mountain is about 10 minutes from my house and it's a 3-mile gravel road with a spectacular view at the top!
