Introduction to Felicity Farms

Learn more about Felicity Farms, which began as a land grant of 10,000 acres from King George II of England in 1730. Our 120 acres was the original site of the homestead, log cabin, tabacco barns, and family cemetery, all of which you can see during your free hayride.
Hi! We are Mike and Pat Criscito. We own Felicity Farms in Hurdle Mills, North Carolina. We decided to open the farmhouse as an Airbnb in late 2019 after a complete renovation and new furnishings to give it a luxury feel. We have since discovered that our unique farm is the ideal place for family gatherings, holiday stays (we fully decorate for the seasons), bachelor or bachelorette events, birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, educational trips for kids (especially city kids who need to touch Mother Earth), or even COVID getaways (no germs allowed on the farm!). We are also a better option than a hotel when your home floods and you need repair people in your house for a month or more. Perhaps you are a group of traveling nurses or a visiting professor at one of our famous universities or a business executive working temporarily in the Research Triangle. If so, think FELICITY FARMS! With a total of 2,370 sf, the house comfortably sleeps eight with three bedrooms and a pullout, full-size sofa bed in the living room, two full bathrooms, one half bath, an old-time crackling fireplace, central heat and air, outdoor grill, pizza oven, and patio, yard games, and a fully stocked kitchen and laundry room. The backyard is a great playground for children and adults alike, including a fire pit with comfy chairs (and free firewood), horseshoes, corn hole game, disc golf, tether ball, children’s playhouse, and huge jungle gym with swings. More ideas being implemented all the time, like the brand new, luxury, private hot tub just off your patio that you can enjoy day or night. Our home is about 300 feet from the farmhouse. We make our salt-water pool, hot tub, pergola, fire pit, fireplace, patio, and high-end Sonos music system available to our guests for their exclusive use from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm every day during their stay. We honor your privacy while you are using the patio by closing our curtains and keeping the house dark and quiet. Our house was built with 2x6 walls, so we can't even hear your music or voices, but we are only a text or knock away if you need anything... like s'mores! Felicity Farms is a real, working farm with Wagyu cattle, horses, bunny rabbits, chickens, ducks, and geese, goats, sheep, dogs, a one-acre fishing pond, herbs, vegetables, and flowers. We offer many items for sale or free, depending on the season. While you are guests, you may gather fresh eggs from the big hen house for your use during your stay at no charge. There is plenty of hiking on our 120 acres of hardwood and evergreen forests, a natural stream, pastures, historically significant sites from as early as 1730, as well as just plain old peace and quiet. We are surrounded by other farms, so there is no congestion and little traffic. To learn more about the history of this unique farm, hiking routes, farm animals, local wildlife, and fun facts, don't hesitate to ask for our free one-hour hayride at the beginning of your stay. We look forward to meeting you and your guests soon!
