Burmis tree or burmis lake is within a km of the cabin. Take a walk out of the cabin to burmis lake. It is stocked with trout every spring. The Crowsnest River is just behind the lake for fly fishing. Take the road with foot access only down onto the nature conservatory for a lovely stroll or to gain direct access to the River.

Locals swim,camp, and fish this lake in the summer. In the winter it has excellent cross country ski trails. Rent a pair of ski’s from Spry in Blairmore to try it out! It also has a short hike to Alison creek falls which can be found on the all trails app.
