Where to eat: Kayu Aya street is the eat street of Bali with so many nice restaurants. My picks would be: Batik, Cafe Bali, Ultimo. A bit further up to the beach there’s Sea Circus, La Lucciola, Bamboo, Monsieur Spoon, Warung Mina for local food and RevaReno for the best gelato on the island. Further down the downtown Seminyak: Corner house, Shelter, Warung Made, Bo and Bun, Moana, Queen Tandoor, Chai’ba, Warung Bu Nana, KZU Wabisabi. If you’d like to try a taste of local foodcourt, it’s located at the beginning of Sunset road, on the way to Jalan Raya Kerobokan. Sunset drink: Ku De Ta, Mano beach club, Potato head, the little cafes along the Seminyak beach, W hotel.

Sightseeing

Ubud is a beautiful area, around 1,5 hour drive from Seminyak. Take a day trip to Ubud to see some of the beautiful temples; Gunung Kawi temple and Tampak Siring, the Ubud art market, Monkey Forest, Tegalalang rice fields, and also a short drive to Kintamani where you can have a view of mount Agung. It’s also a convenient place to spend the night when you want hike mount Batur. I highly recommend to spend two or three nights in Ubud, to experience the slow life, the culture and the place itself.

Beautiful temple on the cliff of the southern Bali beach. You can take a day trip and start around 11am, then head to one of the beaches to have lunch and to spend the day on the beach, Bingin would be my pick. On the way home after sunset, stop by at the Jimbaran bay to have a grilled seafood dinner by the beach.

Sunset drink in one of the cafes along the Seminyak beach.

Start with a walk along the beach before Sunset, and choose of of the cafes with little bean bags along the beach. Ku De Ta for a nicer choice, is an excellent place for Sunset.
วิธีประหยัด

Choose wisely.

If you must take taxis, choose the Blue bird company the reliable metered taxi. Do not exchange your money at a tiny money changer with higher rates. Go to the big ones instead, it’s much safer.
สัมภาระที่ควรเตรียม

Light clothing.

Bali weather is hot and humid most of the time, all year long. Except if you want to hike mount Batur, you will unlikely need warm clothing.
วลีที่มีประโยชน์

Selamat pagi!

Indonesians love to shorten the phrases when possible. The most common words are: Pagi! (Instead of selamat pagi, to say good morning) and Makasih (instead of terima kasih which means thank you)
