Sightseeing

This is the beach for sunsets! Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall. Arrive 10 minutes before sunset, wander the sands or even sit in your car and watch the sun go down. Turn left at the guard shack and park right along the ocean. The sun will put on a show while you sip your sundowner drink from your flask.

Ride in a pedicab

You will see these human-powered vehicles all over town. When you arrive get the name a number by stopping one on the street. The peddle cabs are pay what you want and a fun way to zip around town or down to the jetty or just see the sites. Love them!
All candles are made right there; are PTown themed and make great souvenirs. Adam and Chris own this cute little spot. If you walk right down our street toward Commercial you will see it on the corner of Commercial and Arch.

Mike, the owner and his crew, will take good care of you. And better yet, they are located at the end of the parking lot near our house. Just walk toward the monument and you will find them on Bradford across from the Brewery. They have electric bikes too!

We call in "The Jetty" and it is a mile-long, rock walkway that juts out to the very tip of Massachusetts . Follow Rt. 6 to the end rotary and there it is right near the PTown Inn. Fun to jump, hike and traverse and the beach on the other side (if you make it that far) is very private.

Easy to hop on these paths from our house. Turn left out of the drive, ride to the end of Conwell and across Rt. 6 and once you get up the hill you will intersect the bike path on both sides of the street. The right goes to the wonderful Visitor Center and the left more directly toward the end of Rt. 6 and the beaches and the Jetty. Follow the map that Mike at the bike shop gave you.

The library has great views from the third floor. Go in to figure out why it is relevant to post a picture of a ship on the library listing. And of course there are many great magazines and books for a rainy day.

The cheapest place to eat with a harbor view. Buy a nibble from the row of stands in the Aqua bar and take it to the ocean-front deck with picnic tables. If you are in the mood, you can order a drink out on the deck, but you don't have to.
