There is a large community of Amish in the area of the Cabin. They are very friendly and love their culture. They would however appreciate you to refrain from taking pictures.

Don't assume your GPS is taking you the correct route
Some of the roads here are snowmobile trails in the winter. Be sure to check the signs before you turn onto a "road". Alot of the seasonal roads are the snowmobile trails so be careful. Snowmobilers will not help you get your car unstuck and you may not have service to call a tow truck.
