Veterans Park is an awesome park with lots of green space right along Lake Michigan. Take in the views, go for a picnic, try out some of the activities in the park or much more. Other attractions are right by the park including the art museum, Lakeshore St Park, Summerfest grounds and more.

Walk along the Milwaukee River that goes through downtown and the east side! The walk offers stunning views of downtown buildings on either side of the river. There are also boat rentals, cruises, kayak rentals and more through the river. My personal favorite is kayaking down the river through downtown and the Third Ward.

Beach and park on Lake Michigan. It is much less busy than Bradford Beach. The park is on top of the bluffs with the beach at the bottom of the bluffs, which feels more isolated from traffic. The views are spectacular.
