Safe/Accessible Area
Don't be worried if you forget necessary travel items! There is a Target less than 5 miles from my home in a safe area that's easy to get to. The East Towne Mall also will have items you may have forgotten!

Saturday Farmers' Market is a Must!
There are farmers' markets all year round, but the outdoor market on The Capitol Square during the summer is the best! During the winter, I'd suggest using Google to find indoor markets.

Uber/Lyft in the area
Our biggest ride-share programs in the area are Uber and Lyft. Usually relatively cheap rides downtown (around $10-$15 one way). Otherwise, during the summer, biking is a great choice. There's a bike trail entrance right down the road from my home that will take you all over the East/Downtown areas!
