There is tunnel under the Upper Town, built as a shelter. Entrances are from Mesnička, Tomićeva and Radićeva street. There are special events in Tunnel, like concerts around Christmas.
The easiest way is to stroll through Upper Town (go up with Funicular), go down on Mesnička, and then through the Tunnel all the way to Radićeva and Jelačić Square.
