The towpath will take you through the famous Camden Markets, Primrose Hill, London Zoo and Regents Park. A roast in the Spaniards Inn is recommended if it's cold outside.
This park is situated in trendy Stoke Newington. Always full of young families and picnic-ers on a hot day. There's a big playground for kids, skate park, tennis courts, deer park and paddling pool in the summer.

Our favourite Sunday stroll is alongside the little-known River Lea. Start in Marksfield Park and walk east as far as the Olympic Park in Stratford. Stop off in Springfield Park, Walthamstow Marshes and Clapton along the way. The Chatsworth Road has a lovely market and nice cafes at the weekend. And we recommend a pint in the (unglamorous!) Hope and Anchor pub en route where you can watch the narrow boats go by.
