If you have little children and you need a break, I highly recommend Rachel's Corner. They only take 8 weeks to 3 year olds. A safe and loving place. My children went there.

A great day trip on Mt. Hood. It's historic and just awesome. Not too challenging for skiing, but you can snowshoe up Mt. Hood. and have a warm drink in the lodge. Dinner is wonderful.

Timberline Lodge Ski Area
27500 E Timberline RoadA great day trip on Mt. Hood. It's historic and just awesome. Not too challenging for skiing, but you can snowshoe up Mt. Hood. and have a warm drink in the lodge. Dinner is wonderful.
If you want to go sledding this is the place to go! It's a bit of a drive, so if you want something closer, go to Jackson Park.
