Right in the middle of the Pier Ave beach bar plaza, it's a great restaurant and a very lively night-life area.
There are shops, bars, arcades, at least a dozen restaurants, and of course, the beach! Redondo Beach Pier is the most extensively tourist friendly pier attraction I know of.
