One of the neatest natural things to see in Colorado. There is a large snowfield year around. Nothing like sledding in the middle of July. It is a 1.5 mile round trip that is completely doable by all, but if you are coming from lower altitudes your lungs will feel it. It has been a few years, but last time we went parking was 5-10 dollars, cash only. Check out the trail conditions at alltrails . Com

Free bus service that connects travelers to Winter Park resort and town, Fraser, and Granby. Stops in the parking lot at the Inn at Silver Creek. Ask the front desk for specific times and meeting places.
