Loads of amazing food. One michellin star restaurant, and a bunch of no nonsense yummies, including best italian gelato in all Iceland (I recommend Amarena Cherry)

Geothermal Pool
A must. Few steps from the apartment, across the long Snorrabraut street, an abundace of luxury. The oldest swimming pool in Iceland, and underwent some super nice add-ons in the last few years. Step back about 70 years in the men's locker room. Super nice, hot tubs and sauna, cold tub, outside pool and inside with a diving platform (I dare ya).
Open until 22pm every night. Perfect before bedtime.

The oldest swimming pool in Iceland, and underwent some super nice add-ons in the last few years. Step back about 70 years in the men's locker room. Super nice, hot tubs and sauna, cold tub, outside pool and inside with a diving platform (I dare ya).
Open until 22pm every night. Perfect before bedtime.
Sightseeing
On this street, as you take Njálsgata up the neighbourhood, to the intersection with Frakkastígur. There you find Drekinn. Across the street from there is Reykjavík Roasters and next door you have Brauð og Co bakery.

Fun
I believe this is the largest dart bar in Europe, if not the world. It used to be a movie theater. Good pizza, wide selection of drinks and DARTS.

Day drinking, food and Joy!
This place is easy to put into favorites. Its in kahoots with RVK Brewery and has a dog friendly attitude. Great staff, crazy variety of beers, breakfast menu and Arctic Pies (icelandic pop up restaurant that serves delicious aussie pies)

laundromat and deli in Austurstræti, down town. Located 1,4km walking distance, or about 20 min walk from the apartment. Good place to wash your briefs.

Hopp and Zolo, among others are companies that offer these electric scooters to get around town faster. Install the apps, Hopp og Zolo and your're good to go (at your own risk of course)
