Ramon's is actually in Canaillas de Albaida & well worth a visit. He has the best rosada & chips around, an interesting selection of wines & a large terrace with ample parking right outside the door. Friendly locals mix easily with the tourists & Ramon is a wonderful character to befriend.

La Feria & Cómpeta's Noche del Vino
Cómpeta is famous for it's sweet moscatel wines which are poured freely all day & night on the 15th of August. And the night's entertainment in the Plaza de Almijara usually includes a passionate display of flamenco or Sevillanas music & dance.
Just remember to pace yourself - it's a long day!
