The IJburg Harbor is lined with nice restaurants with terraces on the waterside where you can enjoy good food or just watch the boats while having a drink. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk there from the house.
There is also a sailing school.

A nice place to have lunch or dinner. Good food and a great interior. Its usually very quiet so its for those looking to dine in peace rather than those looking for the hustle and bustle.
Added bonus is the top level bar with great views over the lake.

From April till the end of October the ferry departs every Saturday and Sunday at 10.45 am sharp to the Fortress Island Pampus. Every Sunday there is an extra midday departure at 1.15 pm.
Toddlers join free of charge, ticket prices (boat + entrance) range from 7,50 to 22,50.
