Distance: less than 10 minutes driving La Isla is a shopping center, there is a part 1 La Isla, and part 2. Part 2 is a newer one, but both are very nice shopping plaza/malls with Starbucks, sit down Mexican, Italian, Pizza restaurants & more, Haagen Daaz, gelato, souvenir shopping and clothing shops.

Sightseeing

Distance: 1 hour driving Highly recommend going here for a whole day trip. Book online and add the bus round trip transportation option during check out and they will pick you up and drop you off near our condo. Transport by taxi takes 1 hour, which is also convenient method to go. There are many sub-parks part of Xcaret, but first go to Xcaret. It is a huge jungle/forest themed park with cenotes (underground water channels with natural ocean water) to swim/float in and many historical sites to look at. There are buffets available, snorkeling, interaction with dolphins and other aquatic life. They have a Bird aviary section as well as butterfly section.
