Acomb is a friendly community with a local library, leisure centre, shops, pubs and cafes.
There is a local market once a month.
Acomb green has a park and plenty of benches to take a picnic to as well as a couple of pubs and places to eat..
Tea on the green is open during the day for lunch and breakfast. They also open on a weekend for Tapas.
The Crooked Tap is a local craft beer bar, but also has live music on a weekend. It can be quite lively, they also dont mind you ordering a pizza to eat with your beer from next door (pizza hut).
The Sun is a traditional pub if you fancy a quieter drink.
We recommend the Indian Ocean for a nice Indian meal, they also do takeaways.
We have lots of takeaways in the area that will deliver to our home.
If you want to walk into Acomb main Street there are more cafes and a deli.
