Things to do in town

A must while you're here... touted as the longest aerial tram in America. There is a restaurant at the top (talk about dinner and a view), if you're not lucky enough to snag a reservation for dinner, the bar is a great option!

You can spend as much time or as little time as you'd like around Old Town Albuquerque. The plaza itself has many great local stores and restaurants (check out the New Mexico Tea Company or Blackbird Coffee House while you're there). Nearby there are museums, a park, and the Sawmill Market food hall.

Fun little farmer's market downtown (most Saturdays of the year). The 'Railyards Market' is also great (on Sundays).

Catching a game of our Minor League baseball team is usually a fun time (no joke they were named because of an episode of The Simpsons, look it up!). If soccer is more your speed, the energetic atmosphere at our NM United matches is really hard to beat!

Warning: Not for the faint at heart! The full La Luz trail hike is a tough one (3,200 FT of elevation gain in 7.5 miles). If you want a more laid back hike, there are MANY great trails in the 'foothills' at the base of the mountain (or the Petroglyphs on the west side of town).
