Mini-Golf, Root Beer Floats, walk through this busy little town and down to the river. Right by the St. Croix Dam, so it is flowing pretty good. Trails, trails, trails.

This one hasn't been updated in awhile, but the food is amazing. $$$$. I would call for a reservation, but any group size is welcome. If the weather is nice, there are two state parks within 1 mile of here, both worth walking through.

A half hour drive. It will be busy, but worth it. Amazing restaurants like LoLo's and Marx. For the kids, head to the malt shop or one of two candy stores. Grab a book at the book store and sit by the river. Take a trolley ride. I'm never completely sure how they make it up those hills, but they do! If the library is open, head out onto their rooftop for a great view.

There are hundreds of steps to the falls, but many places to catch your breath on the way down or usually on the way up for me:) The water is cool and refreshing.
