This lighthouse is quite unique on PEI because it is the only one (as far as we have found) which allows you to go outside on the top floor - it also holds a seaglass display, and a lot of interesting history! A lovely giftshop lies on the property as well.

Souris Historic Lighthouse
134 Breakwater StThis lighthouse is quite unique on PEI because it is the only one (as far as we have found) which allows you to go outside on the top floor - it also holds a seaglass display, and a lot of interesting history! A lovely giftshop lies on the property as well.
From their website: "We offer Stand-up Paddleboard, Kayak, and Double Kayak rentals on the calm and secluded Fortune River. Fortune River is an estuary with slow moving water that is more salt than fresh. It is the ideal location in Eastern PEI to paddle with 8 kms of waterway to explore."
